An interview with Aung Aung Oo, Myanmar National's Goalkeeper
As Aung Aung Oo could play potentially in 2004 Tiger Cup Tournament with his brave spirit, his right decision and the rapid defense, he got the full encourage of Myanmar's citizens. Aung Aung Oo said, "although the unexpected goals were scored by other teams in 2006, Philippines Sea Games, I'll try best in Merdaka Cup Tournament". Followings are the discussion with him.

Can you tell how to start in your professional...? |

I started by representative of Yangon Division in 1995 in U-15 States & Divisions Football Tournament and then I played in 1996 in U-17 States & Divisions Tournament, in 1997 with Myanmar Youth Team, in 1998, with Commerce, in 1999 with Myanmar National, Since 1999,2000 until now in F & R.

| A. |
I started with Malaysia in Friendly match in 1997 as Myanmar Youth's Selection . In 1999, I played as National Selection in Myanmar-Malaysia Friendly match in Yangon.

This was due to all's effort. |

You met the bad results in 2006 Philippines Sea Games, Can you explain about the goals of Laos, Vietnam and Singapore in this Tournament...? |
| A. |
We had to give the goals unexpectedly in the time of attacking as we wanted to win. We lost in Vietnam and Singapore due to their fortune.

| A. |
Goal's Coach, U Myo Chit gives the trainee. The rest is made us practise by U Kyi Lwin and U San Win.

About the participation in Asian qualifiers and Olympic qualifiers...? |
| A. |
In first-stage of Asian qualifies Myanmar Could only attend to the second stage in Myanmar, Maldives and Brunei. In second-stage of this, Iraq and Bahrain attended to next stage among Myanmar, Iraq ,Bahrain and Malaysia . We took part twice in Olympic qualifies. China could only qualify among North-Korea, China, Myanmar and Vietnam in first time. In second time, Myanmar qualified against Bangladesh in two games. In another stage, Japan qualified against Myanmar in Japan.

There are many things. The main fact is that a good goalkeeper needs to be strong in spirit, Besides, a goalkeeper is quick, light,active and can maintain in catching the ball. |

I hope that Myanmar will reach to final. |

French Goalkeeper- Barthez and Spain Goalkeeper- Casillas because they are quick and active. |

Good. We got many advantages and it made us improve as we competed against the quick team like Japan.
